Figure of a lion, recumbent
Made by WOOD & CALDWELL
These Lion figures were produced in matching pairs (mirror
image). Pearl glazed earthenware with overglaze enamel painted
decoration. Colour picked out in brown and iron red, the
rectangular base with ochre line bands Impressed
mark on bottom "WOOD & CALDWELL". Height 10.5cm,
length 12.5cm.
